<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Raptors' rookie Jamario Moon has guaranteed a win in Saturday night's Slam Dunk Competition, according to SLAM! Sports.

"I got it," Moon told SLAM! Sports. "I've got it in my pocket right now. I believe in me, and I'm sure those guys believe in what they do. But I think I've got some nice dunks. I've got a couple (in reserve) in case they do something crazy and make me go a little deeper into the hat. I believe in myself."</div>

I don't have a problem with him guaranteeing the victory, but come on Jamario... don't reserve any dunks. Don't hold back. Bust out your 4 best dunks, that's what it's all about.

Him and Josh Smith should take a vacation on fantasy island. I don't understand the idea of putting tape down when YOU CAN'T MAKE THE DUNK.

Howard was the same deal. Why put tape down if you have to throw it at the net?

The tape was a mistake. I think he should of done his behind the foul line dunk first and for his second dunk have Kapono throw and ally-oop and do a 360. There is always next year.

it was more confidence, but he shouldn't be to disappointed, should've been in the finals but overall, he'll have a good second half, he'll make it up

That was disappointing. But everyone was right. He should of used kapono for the first dunk and not used tape on the second dunk. With the allyopp u have to time ur jump. To take off from where he wanted to he would have to just go full tilt with the ball. It was a good dunk comp though for sure.

Moon wasn't as good as I thought he'd be. What was the point of putting down tape if he took off from within the free throw line? [IMG]

I thought Moon's dunks were two of the most impressive dunks in the competition, his first dunk was basically Fred Jones' dunk that won him the dunk contest a couple years back and his second dunk he jumped from a foot inside the FT line and dunked a ally with his left hand. I thought that was way more impressive then the gimmicky dunks by Green and Howard, all Green did was a two hand slam and blew out a candle and then windmills and between the legs. IMO Moon got snubbed
