The Lakers may not be done tinkering with their roster.

The word is they don't believe Odom can be that ultimate small forward to defend the wing and shoot from distance along the front line when Andrew Bynum returns.

The Lakers are said to be looking hard for a more traditional small forward with shooting range. Perhaps the Wizards' Caron Butler, who was injured and couldn't play in Sunday's All-Star Game.</div>

Okay, I don't think this will happen, but I felt I might as well post this since the Allstar Weekend is so boring. It's just speculation, so don't read too much into it.

That will be so sweet, but I don't see it happening. We need a SF but who's out there?

Well when he's finally done playing with it, I'm sure Luke Walton won't mind taking over.

Luke will rub all the magic off. The wand stays with Mitch. Mitch and Jerry are the only ones who can handle it

Wizards will pretty much tag Butler as their franchise player if Arenas decides to leave. Don't expect anything to accumulate.

Btw, Butler's long range shooting is shaky.

You'd probably find it easier to get Arenas than Butler. Not saying that you could get Gil, though.

The writer says it all--Sam Smith. He's just speculating, we're not going to trade Odom for Miller. I think if anyone, we'll trade him for Mike Miller. Remember, we did have a deal lined up before Memphis decided they didn't want to pay the rest of Odom's salary. I think we might be able to sway them.

You gotta admit though, Miller would look good in a Nets jersey.

    LMFAO no.

Anyway, I doubt we can pull this off this season.

I don't expect any other moves. Lamar's been playing fine, but if we want a shooter. I'd start Vlad @ 3 and bring Odom off the bench.

I wouldn't mind trading Lamar, but he has been playing fantastic as of late. But I'm not sure how he'll play once he gets moved to small forward when Bynum returns. Either way, I'm really interested to see our lineup with three seven footers up front (Lamar is 6'10-6'11, close enough). It will create matchup nightmares, and it will make teams battle even harder for rebounds. Imagine how many second chance opportunites we'll be able to get. With that said, if we can get Mike Miller for him, I'd definitely pull the trigger, but I wouldn't trade him for someone like Ricky Davis (yuck)

I'll prefer to have Mike Miller, rather then Odom. But Memphis help us once what makes us think that they will helps again.IMO all the trades are pretty much over for us, maybe in the offseason we might trade Odom.

btw, +1 for the thread title.

If Mitch doesn't stop playing with his wand, it'll start to chafe.

I'm thinking about randomly changing the display names of people that make threads based on Sam Smith articles that don't put a Sam Smith warning on the thread.

So Brian, if you suddenly log in and see your display name is Luke's Boyfriend, you'll know why [IMG] [IMG]
