Some will say, let's tank. I say, just keep fighting. If the Nets do decide to keep Vince around, I want to see how far they can go. As a Nets fan, I'm just not used to giving up like that.

Up until that point, I wasn't at all interested in basketball. Now with Kidd heading to Dallas; I'll have to root for him there, but I'm not forgetting about the Nets, either. Their still my favorite team.

I remember in the 90s when we had Cassell, Rony Seikaly, Jason Williams, Kendall Gill, KVH and then trade for Marbury...I was so hyped on those teams...every year I was saying this is the year we break out and end the curse... Before Kidd we had a stigma worse than the Clippers, Players who were supposed to be all time greats Derrick Coleman, KVH floundered, players with potential got hurt Jayson Williams or just plain quit Stephan Marbury. It all ended when Kidd came...for that I'll always be thankful to Kidd.

I think we're all praying that the current Nets doesn't turn into a POS franchise they were in the 90s. The past coming back; that would suck.

I doubt very much this team decides to tank I doubt Thorn and Frank allow this team to give up, I'm sure Thorn will meet with the team when they get back from the break and let's them know what is expected from them here on out, maybe this will help the team focus now, the distraction of Kidd is gone

Though I've been twice as spoiled. I've been a Syracuse fan since forever...and you know them with Jimmy.

by that I mean the trade is happening, but the purpose of it is not for the team to give up and tank. sorry, I couldn't sleep and posted that at like 4:30 this morning.
If Carter takes this as a challenge for him to lead this team on his own, he may even start playing better.
