With the C removed from Jersey #5, who becomes team captain?

Longest tenured Net (not counting KVH), RJ?

Or an attempt to motivate, VC?

    It has to be RJ...
Althought I could see the team go with Vince and RJ as Co-Captains.

If Carter and RJ are still here after the deadline, I expect they will be made co captains.

I mean do we even need to have a captain?
No one really fits the roll anymore besides RJ I guess for his tenure here.

As funny as that would be, there's really nobody else who's demonstrated maturity as constantly this season as Magloire.

What, by picking his nose and checking out hot girls in the stands during timeout huddles?

The new Captain will be Sean Williams. And if you don't like it, see Aldridge. [IMG]

Sean Williams would be cool to have. We'd have such a laid back team.

Honestly though, Darrell could easily get it if he's staying till the end of the year.

I like that Magloire has kept quiet and always said the right things even though he's in a pretty tough spot. Of course I can't say that he didn't help put himself there with his play on the court.

I guess I just helps to have a guy who doesn't like his situation but isn't being disruptive about it

RJ should carry on as Captain. But I think that would get to Carter's ego.

Why would it get to Carter? Thougth part of why he asked out of Toronto was he didn't want to be a leader.

I think the captain gets to discuss more with the refs, so it is important to have one--and he should be someone that is on the court a lot.

But I could be thinking of that other craphole sport.
