Van Horn will probably sit on the bench for 30 days and then go home. There's no way he's going to work off 1.5 years of rust in less than 30 days...
I don't think so, either. All he's going to do is collect his free money. It would be cool if he did play a couple of games.

See following Kidd around did me some good, read up on the history of the Nets.
Oh and no way KVH is playing, maybe a 3 minute appearance like Kobe, but if there are games to win, he ain't playing...who's the coach...Frank? Webber has not played in 9 months and he looks awful.
Don't expect to see Van on the sidelines unless he feels like it, which I doubt. Nets might not even bother putting him on injury list... there's probably something in his contract that says the team cannot fine him or anything like that for being an absentee.

The NBA will be watching this, and Thorn really doesn't want to piss them off at this point. Van Horn will attend and be inactive for all the games and will be present for the majority (if not all) of the practices. He won't play a minute unless it's a meaningless game at the end of his time and he asks to be active.
You people are unblievable. KVH made this deal possible--this deal which landed the nets more for Kidd than anyone could have imagined, given his age and his public demands--and now you are slandering him? I hope Van Horn plays the final game of the season, receives a ten-minute standing ovation, and then retires. That's how he deserves to go out--not kicked in the ass by Jason Kidd as it happened six or seven years ago.
i hope KVH plays regular minutes and pushes this team into the playoffs, dumpy, we all want to see the good ol' KVH to come back...at least a glimpe of his former self but he hasnt played in two years etc.... he only reason he agreed to this deal was the 4 million, i reckon

KVH is doing his victory lap and counting his money. good for him. Will he rock the high socks and the old haircut for old times sake. *This just in... Lucious Harris is expressing interest at returning* hahhahaa

He got dragged into the middle of this situation and is doing everyone a favor. He certainly never asked for any of this to happen. He deserves every penny of that money and he should be inconvenienced as little as possible before he goes back home and resumes his life.

I remember a press conference after Game 4 against the Lakers that may or may not have been the beginning of the end for Van Horn in Jersey. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Keith Van Horn is a class act. As far as I'm concerned, whatever he wants he should get, without pissing off the NBA of course...
