Fred Kerber squashed this rumor and Dave D. said you can "book" that Carter won't be traded before the deadline because the Nets want to make the playoffs. Right decision.
Look at both the Knicks and Heat's records. Are they gonna give up their picks AND cut the Nets a saving on salary (while enhancing their own picks) for 30 games of Carter? -Petey
