as did all of us, a total team effort, new guys hassel and diop making HUGE differences, especially hassel, his defense was awesome, marcus playing like the PG we hoped for and RJ and VC carrying the team on there shoulders. There's room for optimism, no? it'll be interesting to see this team in the playoffs, theyll most likely lose and might be by alot if we face detorit or boston but watching the young guns marcus, boone, sean, devin in the playoffs should only help
Agreed. There's no negative energy (except Magloire) around to affect their play. I'm starting to feel optimistic, but I don't want to speak too soon.
Marcus was awesome tonight. He played with pace and put up 20+ to boot. I'm so happy to see Carter put up big big numbers. I've been really impressed with his progression the last couple of weeks and to see him lead this team is promising. Capital represented a lot of what was missing with this team in the past: defense, hustle, and some scoring off the bench. I didn't get to see Diop, but we needed him with Stro out sick and Sean being a dud with his fouling This was a step in the right direction alright!
we're like that young, up and coming team thats always fun to root for, i really like the future of this team

Thats gotta be a good sign! In all seriousness I totally agree with your viewpoint. There was some actual heart out there. VC looked re-energised, Marcus looked confident and Hassel was the wing defender we have needed for some time. I really hope this isnt a flash in the pan, and we develop some consistancy.

Fortunately we also have thet starpower of RJ and VC. Like Harris said, he didn't get traded to a team of scrubs.
No play wasn't organized which turned out to be good. We didn't trail by a lot but we didn't blow them out. Frank looks better in this system now.
its just like a new beginning, atleast feels like it. im actually excited to see the nets play again, to see which young guy steps up, felt like a dark cloud was over this team when kidd was here but now its all or nothing and this team played like it
this team also showed cojones!!!! coming back, they could have gave up when the momentum swing in the bulls favor but they fought through, very nice
Last semester I took management class. What my professor taught me that if you have "cancer" in your business - you must get rid of him, even if it's your best producer. cancer is contagious and affects everybody around. Tonight I saw something I haven't seen in a while from this team - desire to win and hustle do do this. I hope that guys will have fun playing basketball from now on.

I was feeling bad for Frank trying to coach with all this shit undermining what he was trying to do. I think this team is going to finish above .500. And I'm not saying that just because of this win, but because the cancer is gone and they do have talent here. I'd be a lot more confident about how far they'll go if they can get Mike Miller.

I'm still going to enjoy the games for the rest of the year. I'd rather watch rugged, spirited play by the young guys, even if it ends in a loss than to go expecting a win only to see them not do so.
Wow. I like how this team is playing, and I'm surprised with some of the plays they showed from Marcus - defensively and offensively. A real eye opener. Now, if we could get this consistently, just imagine how good the rest of the season could play out!
