What happened to him? The NETs need to waive someone. There is no reason to put him inactive. Krstic should be inactive for the rest of the season.

Too many Stro fans panicking. Read the Nets game time blog before every game, let's you know who's feeling sick and what not
he wouldnt go in the doghouse, stro has been awesome so far. where do you get minutes tho? diop, sean and stro all require time, which two do you use? sean has to play
I think you guys are a little too high on Stro. He's not that great of a player. He relies almost completely on his athletic ability. He's too small to be a PF but he doesn't have the shooting touch or offensive abilities to play the 3. Did I mention he's also overpaid for what he does? You guys honestly think too highly of someone who's never been better than a role player his entire career.

I personally would have a starting lineup of: PG: Harris/ Williams SG: VC SF: RJ PF: Williams C: Swift Bench: Boki, Armstrong, Hassel, Diop, Boone, Ager, Magliore This is a killer lineup. With this lineup, we can have the third best record in the East. Krstic needs to go to the D-League. He

It's that we got someone that exhibits much greater athleticism than who we traded for him. He also hasn't been getting a lot of minutes so people are curious to see what he could do. That's what warrants us to get a little anxious to see him play. I don't think you should be strung up on Nets/Stro fans being "a little too high." Can't we be excited for some needed change to a struggling team? It also creates a lot of chatter (though a lot of people got upset/confused about him not get playing time tonight, but the reason for that is that he's out with a stomach virus).

I'm excited to see Stro starting for the NETS this season. I like a Sean Willaims and Stro duo.
Stro may not be a superstar by any means, but he brings excitement to teh game - you never know when he's just going to fly up and dunk on someone's face... or make a nice block... or come from behind.. or just anything that he can do with that athleticism he has. Also us diehard Stro fans want to see what he can do on a new team, he's been basically stuck on crappy teams almost his entire career and I think the Nets are much better than the Grizzlies ever were.
Having a stomach virus is no joke, I wouldn't wanna be sitting on the bench with the BG's lol stay home and close to the toilet

He'd be a good offensive spark, and he's a good rebounder/shotblocker. He's a bench guy. A guy who can provide a spark off the bench, and also bring some entertainment, maybe get a rise out the crowd and/or teammates. I think that's what most of these guys are thinking. I mean, you know how some people love entertainment value. And NoWright4U, I'm not speaking for you, because I have no clue what you're thinking. Do you really think that highly of Stromile Swift? Do you know he's not exactly Frank's type of player, and do you understand that Stromile Swift isn't that intelligent of a basketball player? What do you really think about Swift?
He might turn out to be a decent fit in NJ. You never know what is going on in the heads of people. The nets right now are a collection of mostly quiet, introspective people--Carter, Boone, Marcus, Krstic come to mind. It seems like Swift is that way too; maybe he'll just be comfortable in this envirnment?
Frank always falls in love with players who have less talent. Swift will probably go back to getting garbage time.

I still have flash backs of Collins attempting a dunk in slow motion. Swift is hands down the best finisher we have since K-Mart. The NETS don't need an intelliget player in the low post like a "Webber" if you are thinking of basketball IQ.. The Nets need someone who's athelthic, grab boards, and score in the low post when left opened. Swift is not the focal point in Frank's offense. We need a force in the low post to battle with the Okur's, Hasslem's, Vareajo's, Howard's, Brand's, etc. ect. I have no idea what Frank has decided on Stro's role on this team. Let's see what Stro can do when Devin Harris is starting for this team. I see good things in the future. Let's go NETS!

The only difference is Sean is proving to be much better than Stro, and in just one season. I'd rather let him play and develop more, than some bust. I don't mind giving Stro some minutes, but some of you are making him out to be better than he is.
