The NETS don't need an intelliget player in the low post like a "Webber" if you are thinking of basketball IQ.. The Nets need someone who's athelthic, grab boards, and score in the low post when left opened. Swift is not the focal point in Frank's offense. We need a force in the low post to battle with the Okur's, Hasslem's, Vareajo's, Howard's, Brand's, etc. ect. I have no idea what Frank has decided on Stro's role on this team. Let's see what Stro can do when Devin Harris is starting for this team. I see good things in the future. Let's go NETS! </div> Ah, I see. So, do you think guys with more talent, better rebounding, more efficiency with running plays on offense, and better team defense should not play over Swift because Swift is athletic? Because the type of guy you're describing can actually be Diop, Boone, or Sean. Wouldn't you rather have the young guys, the future, have more PT so they can get even better? Because it seems that at the moment (this could change), Frank has decided upon a small role for Swift: to play a few minutes, provide a small spark, but not to have too big of a role on the team. 15 minutes would be ideal for Swift, and it'd make Swift and Frank look really good. IMO if we give him too much of a role, his past weaknesses will be on display...and that's something I definitely don't wanna see.
