Not sure I'm too thrilled with this...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Nets and Nuggets have discussed a deal that would send veteran power forward Nenê to New Jersey for a package that includes the expiring contracts of Jamaal Magloire and Bostjan Nachbar, according to a league source.</div>

ive always really liked nene, think he can be an x-factor type of big man and trading boki and mags wouldnt hurt us at all but the problem is depth, we would have 6 bigs that require minutes, i dont want to give up diop, boone, sean, and krstic, what if we include swift in the deal? hmm... i kinda like to keep swift to, forget nene

Why do we need another big? Don't like that trade, even though we'd be getting rid of Mags.

Getting a player of Nene's skill is pretty good for two expirings, but our depth at PF/C makes this deal questionable. I wouldn't do it.

I'd rather let Magloire expire or even a second round pick.

We may not have Nene type big men but we have guys who get it done without big money.

Nets are 5 deep at the 4/5. I'd rather use magloire and nachbar in a trade for Mike Miller. 3 point specialists are what we need and thats what Miller brings.

Nene's skill? He's been injured too much for me to tell how truly skilled he is. And I still hate his contract, it blows.

Stop Kiki from dealing for his old trash. Nene still has potential, but his contract is ridiculous and his injury problems never seem to go away. That's the last thing a rebuilding team needs.

Oh god, I hope not, not with that salary. The deal I'm hoping for tommorow is Mike Miller. Also, I like Diop but I don't think we keep him around after this year, so I think we should swing him to get a young player or draft pick in return.

If he was healthy I'd consider it.

But he blew out his knee two years ago and is recovering from cancer. He's only played 12 games this year. How in the world could the Nets want to do this deal?

This is a case of a gm trying to prove that he didn't make a mistake in originally drafting a player by trading for him to play on his new team.

That has to be the explanation. It makes no logical sense whatsoever.

Get us a shooter, Rod. We might actually make some noise if we maintain intensity and get a really good shooter to take Boki's minutes.
