There are only two keys to the rest of the season:

    1) Efficiency
Taking good shots, not settling for fade away jumpers

    2) Team defense
The Nets beat the Bulls by getting stops in the 4th quarter. As bad as Darrell Armstrong was tonight, he played pestering defense. Marcus Williams stepped up on the defensive end as well. However, Boki played bad TEAM defense, slow finding his rotations. I am a a Boki FAN and I'm saying this...

With Kidd gone, the Nets should be quick enough on the perimeter to slow down (not stop) opposing guards. They just have to be aware and rotate better. If they can do that, they should be able to get to the 2nd round.

The nets are unlikely to make the playoffs; take a look at their remaining schedule. It's a disaster. however, there's no reason why this team shouldn't be as good as the version pre-trade, with the way Kidd was playing and his cancerous influence in the locker room. At least now the future is a little brighter. Perhaps Devin-Marcus can be our version of TJ-Calderon and make a nice tandem.

This win shows the Nets are capable of beating a .400 team (when there is a slew of players w/ unexpected production)!

    YES!

Gordon has been hurting and missed a bunch of games before last night. I think he reinjured his wrist after hitting a shot over RJeff. Where was Deng? I think he played, but he's also been out a bunch of games with a sore achilles.

On one hand, a decimated team with a bad record came into the Nets' house and took 'em to overtime. On the other, the Nets will take some time to gel and to get all their new players and previously underused players working together well.

This team has the ability to play really good defense. All the parts are there and the baggage is gone.

Still need shooters to space the floor more. Would like to see Nenad get more touches in the low post. Don't like the fact it's all pick and roll with him shooting 15 footers. If he does get in the post we need shooters to knock down the shot when the double comes.
