    Fan590 is reporting that Juan Dixon has been traded.

    Yahoo claims we have acquired Primoz Brezec, but nothing is confirmed.

    Brezec has an expiring contract. He is a teammate of fellow Slovenian Rasho Nesterovic.

    Maybe the thought is that, because Rasho is here, Primoz won't make a big deal out of never playing.

    Like, we don't have much burn for Rasho, let alone a poor man's Rasho.

    I'm happy with this. Brezec isn't much, but he's a decent big that can play spot minutes if he has to. He'll be given the chance to earn time as well, because I don't think Smitch is really infatuated with anyone.

    I'm guessing this means BC is comfortable with Delfino/Martin manning the 1 until TJ returns. Hopefully it also means Ford's on the verge of returning.

    I think Colangelo has effectively erased the mistake of signing Fred Jones. We had to make two trades to shed that contract.

    Brezec is as soft as a pillow but can definitely contribute here and there.

    Seems a pretty decent trade..

    Seeing that a lot of games i saw when Brezec played against the Raps he seemed to kill the Raptors..

    I like this trade, honestly Dixon has played probably the worst out of everyone on our roster this season and landing a 7 footer in return is pretty decent. Brezec had some nice numbers with the Bobcats and this will just give Sam more options up front when Humphries, Bargnani or any other big is not playing well.

    This trade isn't for us, it's for the MLSE.

    It is just a smart business move, in what will be an expensive off season just to maintain the status quo
