Because of the Salary Cap, picks at the end of the first Round are about as valuable as any other type of pick. This trade wouldn't be that bad for Atlanta.
Deangelo Hall is going to get traded this year. He has made it completely clear that he does not want to play in Atlanta, and once he becomes a free agent they have no shot at resigning him. So Atlanta needs to be smart, trade Hall so you get something in return before he hits the free agent market next year.
