This was mildly random, and sort of out of nowhere. I mean, we couldn't even get a 1st round pick outta this?

He won't be a free agent for long. Someone is bound to pick him up, like Detroit. Watch him kill us when we play the Pistons.

Flip Murray was also released apparently. Could this be a Murray for Magloire tradei nt he making considering Magloire was targeted by Dumars?

Add him to the list: Jeff McInnis, Lamond Murray, Scott Padgett, Billy Thomas, Jabari Smith etc.

Well I wish they did it in a trade so we could have gotten Herrmann in order to match up salaries.

    I'd prefer him over Murray.

wow, I guess they figured they couldn't move him in a trade so they cut him a few days later? hmm..

It does, however, slightly, slightly, help out our big man rotation, even though mags has been out of rotation for a while.
