<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>According to the team's official website, the Pistons cut guard Flip Murray on Friday. The move was not unexpected, and it sets the team up to chase a big man such as Dale Davis. At some point in his career I hope that Ron Murray can have the opportunity to prove all of his haters wrong. I don't have much of an argument because he never really played any significant minutes as a Piston but I still believe whole heartedly that he is as good of a combo guard that we have in this league. Call me whatever you want for saying that but I know when he has played starter minutes he has put up All-Star numbers and he is the only player that I have ever seen that has been asked to put up All-Star numbers when he has not even been in the team's rotation once a starter is injured. From inactive to go to guy - but no other role is acceptable for him. That is saying alot. I hope that he can find a team that best fits his talents. I would say the Kings would be his best bet right now. We shall see.
