Well Cisse has broken both legs so i'd say that his was worse.

He will. He'll be out for a while. Won't play for Arsenal this season and will probably miss Euro 2008. But Cisse has survived 2 leg breaks and is doing very well for Marseille At the moment. Also while watching it the commentators didn't show it as it was deemed to horrific to replay, and i must agree.

    Pretty damn close.

They really are limiting the replays on FSC too.

full motion BBC angle it looked like your average nick the ball away from the defender at the last minute for a free kick, slow motion better angle, one word, Ouch. I remember on MOTD Fabregas looked like he was gonna puke and jellyfish-head looked as if he was watching a team other than Arsenal lift the Premiership trophy.

Gonna take your word on that. Don't need to see any more of this. Really horrid.

I hope that dirty cutn never plays again this season....clearly aimed towards Eduardo's leg. For god's sake, somebody show this bloke how to make a decent tackle. All the brum fans and club are defending his bad defending like it was something unintentional. FECK OFF!!!! [IMG] . Eduardo was not our most reliable player, but he was slowly adapting to the EPL and thanks the taylor cutn he may never play again. Freakin gutted....... [IMG]

I have to admit i was this pissed at first. Then i thought well it was because Eduardo's studs were dug into the ground and it couldn't be helped. Then Alex Mcleish (B'ham Manager) had the utter Stupidity to say it wasn't a red card. Then after i got over that i saw this picture and got really pissed off again. just look how high in he goes. He's lucky it wasn't his shin that got broke or he would face more time off the pitch.

Good news for Eduardo. If all goes well, Which it should with modern day surgery/medicine then he could be back in 9 months.

the only reason his foot was so high is because it went over the ball... and when that happens theres always a risk of breaking someone's leg. Anyway i don't know why you guys are so pissed off, Eduardo doesn't seem to be that annoyed about it <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Eduardo)</div><div class='quotemain'>It was an unfortunate situation but these things can happen in football</div>

Many tackles are that high and &0% of the time it is just a scrape unlucky extremly in this case with all the posistioning of the leg

Yes, I'm pissed because the whole country is justyfing the horrendus tackle. I'm not saying he meant to hurt eduardo, but I expect the league to lay their foot down on players who make these kind of careless tackles [IMG] . The media labels Arsenal club and fans as the bad guys because they are upset from this, but I think its something natural to be unhappy when a player goes undisciplined after this kind of injury. I really hope eduardo recovers soon, but I still think this is going to affect his potential development as a striker for us, and injury like his usually leaves certain limitations and has the potential of breaking the leg again. Yea but many players even in the premier league get their legs broken from tackles much more lately i agree they need to stamp down on them but i can't belive it took eduardo to get injured at his best to raise the issue to the very top
