Our guys are looking to make the extra pass, and are finding the open man. I'm happy with this team's offense right now. The defense....not so much. We could definitely do better. It doesn't help that the Pacers are rated a 95 in three point shooting. Damn this NBA video game! What the fuck? That was a lob! I fucking hate that call, it's a buncha bullshit! HA! Doesn't feel too good now, Pacers, to get a taste of your own damn medicine!

On offense, (other than Boki), everyone's looking great. Passing, getting to the line, getting easy buckets. It's nice to see. Also, Josh Boone is 100% at the line (3-3), and the Nets are 81% from the line (13-16). IMO that's the big difference right now.
Let's recap: Carter, with the 18 points, getting to the line 4 times, and being aggressive. Marcus, passing the ball wall, with 7 assists and only 1 turnover, not to mention passes to players who got to the free throw line. Overall, 13 assists on 17 field goals. Improved defense from last night. (not all that great, but not completely shitty) Indy's shooting 40%, compared to our 49%. I'm happy with that. We got 5 steals, 5 Indy TO's. We got to the line a lot, and made foul shots. 83% (15-18) for us, compared to 56% (9-16) for the Pacers. We're outrebounding them by a wide margin, 27-16. We have 8 turnovers. Better than last night, not as good as I'd like. There were a lot of charges out there...but then again, that's Indy's game. Also, RJ has 3 fouls. And...we're only ahead 4. 50-46, Nets. Also, YES just said we've got 22 points in the paint, compared to 8 for Indy. That's 11 of our 17 field goals in the paint, Plus however many fouls we've gotten while in the paint. You know what that means? Frank had a (very good) game plan to attack the paint, with Indy void of a shotblocker, and this team has used that game plan pretty damn well. I like what I'm seeing here.
best part of tonight's game? We don't have to hear the stupid announcer saying: "home run! " I swear, that must be a drinking game over in Indy. Everytime the announcer says home run take a shot.
Granger with back-to-back three's. Jefferson hits a three, Boone makes a good cut, gets a great pass from Marcus, and then RJ makes a shot. Krstic with the block. And RJ with a shot again! Nets ahead by 10, the offense is looking great, the defense is looking okay, and RJ is on fire! Marcus, 8 assists, 1 turnover...still. Well, apparently, Marcus is putting last night's shitty game behind him. And with the 9th assist, a nice alley!! I'll let that poor defense on the last play go. Wow, and then Marcus, with the good defense on the next play! Jefferson hits another 3!! AH!!
