Like RJ said, he passed down the knowledge of basketball.

    Classic overreaction thread...

Marcus played extremely well tonight, as did RJ. This was like the comeback game, with great games from Vince, Marcus, and Booooooone! after shitting it up last night.

you know what excites me? we haven't even had harris play for us yet. if marcus continues playing like this when he comes off the bench for harris, we can be really dangerous!

I thought our rebounds would go down without Kidd! How would we ever recover those seven defensive rebounds lost per game? I think this was an anomoly . . .

[maybe I shouldn't be smug about this one--the truth is that Kidd's rebounds are way overrated, because 90% of them come on the defensive end, and 85% of those would be picked up by another teammate if he wasn't around . . . . at most the lost of Kidd should result in the loss of one rebound a game--AT MOST. As for the assists . . . .good for Marcus!]

seeing that Harris is coming back from injury I'd want to use him off the bench first, I like Williams at PG better, he has the better passing skill and Harris could learn the offense better and fill in Darryl's role off the bench.

im just worried that once he goes to the bench, he'll start playing awful again, some players need minutes to contribute, you cant just expect them to come in and provide what they normally do in short spurts, hopefulyl he can keep this up and co-exist with harris, having a toronto two headed PG rotation loike this could be nasty

that's why I want to continue using him as a starter, he gets better w/ more responsibility, Devin is great too but we can use him as a change of pace and he can do what Armstrong does only better. I don't and I don't think Frank should f**k w/ this chemistry right now.

true, devin needs to be brought on slowly but eventually devin will be the starting PG and i dont want marcus to go into the old marcus we saw backing up Kidd

Devin is the better defender I don't see him as the better passer or shooter once Marcus gets his feet wet.

I wanna see Harris get a chance because I think he is a better PG than people think. In a up tempo system he'll have higher assist numbers while being a much better defender than Marcus Williams.

I've seen enough to know I want to reevalute that Devin to Portland trade we we're discussing...I'd love to grab Webster, Jack, Frye and a first for Devin...

That would be a sick young lineup...

devin is the fastbreak pg, great defender...hasn't proven to be a good distributor yet...

marcus is the half-court pg, great court vision...always gets beat off the dribble...

i hope both can learn to shoot consistently...they can really complement each other...thate do your thing!

that's a good thing then, we have marcus with that half court vision and devin with the fastbreak. two different styles, so they can definitly throw other teams off guard
