his defense has always been shit but it's hit a new low this year, and when he's not shooting, he's useless out there. we all were treated to a special treat last year finding a guy who hit over 100 threes off the bench while becoming a consistent scorer and it was basically boki camp during preseason where all we heard is "watch out for Boki this year"... now, look at him. if we do resign the guy, it should be for very cheap

I'm guessing this is the last few months we'll see Boki in a Nets uniform, unless he turns it up about 3 notches which I don't see happening.

If we can get him for cheap then he's a steal.

Kareem Rush, Quinton Ross, Bobby Jones, Matt Barnes, Mickael Pietrus, Jarvis Hayes, Eduardo Najera, JR Smith®, James Jones (if he opts out)...

And that's just the unrestricted free agents (other than JR).

    Let him walk.

We've got Krstic, Van Horn, Boki, Mags and Diop all expiring. I'd prefer to use that money to resign Krstic and Diop.

EDIT: And sign Quinton Ross! I love Quinton Ross!

Haha, your welcome. And you've reminded me, that's not even mentioning the draft. I'm sure there's a bunch of good International wing players we'll find out about come draft time.

Boki seems like a good kid, but he's clearly on his way out. I expect there to be a full team commitment to defense with NO weak links. What does Boki do that, say, Kaneel Dickens can't? (20 points, 42% 3-pointers in D league) or Kevin Pittsnogle? And that's just if you're not looking for any defense.

I think the reason Boki was effective last season was because he wasn't the only we looked for to drain the 3-ball. Perhaps if we sign one of those mentioned FAs and resign Boki for a similar contract, he would once again get his 3pt% up. What do you think?

i think he was under the radar last year, nobody, not even us expected him to play that well... or even knew who he was, he had no pressure, this year he had all the hype around him, right from training camp and he may feel the pressure, remember he's always been a bad shooter, last year was the exception, in houston, in NO, bad shooting and this year.

im fine with boki as a 7-8 man in the rotation but he should not be a 6th man right now

when I saw the videos of him at summer camp I was expecting an easy 10 pts off the bench atleast that but every once in 8 games he explodes and that is like 20 points, I pray Denver waives JR I want that guy back in NJ badly.
