If Luke Walton suffers a career ending injury, does his salary come off the books, or do we still have to pay him?

I'd give him $12 million/year if he can always play like this. Kobe with the step back 3. Book this game as a win.</div> With Kobe's and Gasol's contract having 3 years left, there is no way that we can KEEP Odom at 12M/year at the same time sign Bynum to what he deserves and keep our bench intact.

I don't give a **** what Laker fans think of him, he's a ****ing ball hog and can't drive the lane for shit.</div> He's not a ballhog... shooting pull-ups is simply his game since way back... maybe his age is getting to him thats why he cant hit too many jumpers anymore on a consistent basis At least his FT's are consistent
Buss has said that he'd pay the luxury tax for a championship team... Puke is ****ing worthless. I don't even think he'd cut it in the d league.
I don't think Ronny's had a good game since we've got Gasol. He's a worthless player when we've got a dominant big.

That started when Bynum went down though, when Bynum was healthy...Ronny was playing like he has been since we got Gasol.

He wants to win, and if those guys can win for us, they'll all get a decent payday as a Laker. As for the game, can't watch it since it's not being nationally televised, however, looks like our big three are all playing well. Nice to see Sasha keep up his hot shooting off the bench too.
Look at how Kobe found Puke on the baseline. What an underrated passer. Moo, go to Raptorsnation.net to watch it.
Lamar's been playing great, but before we talk about giving him 12 million a season, we have yet to see how well he'll play when moved to small forward. Also, with Kobe/Gasol/Bynum, Lamar will obviously be the fourth option. Now I don't care who you are, but chances are, if you are the fourth option on a team, you really won't impact the team that much. I would still give up Lamar if it means getting Mike Miller, or a defensive stopper in return.

Glad to see we're blowing them out right now. Hopefully we can extend the lead and get our starters some rest come the 4th.
That sure is demoralizing for SEA, Jelly makes a beautiful open three that doesn't count because of the shot clock. Oh no, Kobe's out! WTF. We'll still win.
