    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Best Actor: LeBron James

Chris Paul has David West, Tyson Chandler and Peja Stojakovic. Kobe Bryant has Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum. LeBron James has a house with a bowling alley in it. Seriously. You can?€™t knock 19 fourth-quarter comebacks just because he's parked up in the East. (With that said, the Cavs will HAVE to win 50-plus for LBJ to actually touch Podoloff.) Other nominees: Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant</div>

BBBuuutttt... Steve Nash had Amare and Marion while winning 2 MVP trophies

LOL... I just hope that the voters for the MVP do not think this way! (Hate Kobe that is)

It would be really really moronic if they discounted candidates based on that. I don't think Kobe's a lock for the MVP, but that's not why.

If they're looking at it that way, than Steve Nash doesn't win 2 MVPs, Dirk doesn't win it last year, and Tim Duncan wouldn't have two. I think this particular writer is just trying to find a way to kiss LBJs ass a little more and discredit Kobe for how damn good he's been. Apparently he forgot they were #1 in the West at one point with Kobe/Odom/Bynum, but whatever.

MVP has been BS since they changed the voting from the players and coaches to the MEDIA.

MVP awards don't matter, championships do. Would I like to see Kobe win MVP? Hell yeah. But if he gets snubbed of the MVP award this season, you all know he will use that as extra motiviation for the playoffs. And you all know what a motivated Kobe can do. In a way, I almost want him to get snubbed. If he plays with a chip on his shoulder, with this type of roster, dear lord... [IMG]
