It's going to be weird watching Kidd play for another team. Tony Parker usually has his way with Kidd so it will be interesting.
I don't care how long Kidd has been with the Mavericks; you put him on the floor when the game is on the line. Retarded move by Avery. Notice how Dallas couldn't get anything on that last offensive play.
I can't believe Kidd was not on the floor. Avery is in his "I'm still in control" mode. Like you guys said, the Mavs were a mess.
What the hell is he thinking? Kidd wouldn't be able to make a open jumper? They couldn't even get a shot off. I'm pissed.
This is why you got Kidd. The Mavs looked lost out there when he left the floor, couldn't get a set going or anything.
First off, Avery waited too late to put Kidd and Dirk back. Then he takes the ball away from Kidd. And to top it all, he takes Kidd out on a crucial situation?! This is a big problem. If Avery's ego gets out of hand, the Mavs are in trouble. The Mavs could have had this game. I think Avery's message is clear, He runs the show. Not good.

(referring to the close game with 2 mins to go.) And what do you do, take him out? Avery went for his Lawrence Frank impersonation.
I think Cuban should step in now. He's got to control Avery. The Mavs just have a small window and Avery's ego trip will only make that window smaller.
