<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Devin Harris went through a full practice on Wednesday and is a game-time decision for Thursday’s game against Milwaukee. Lawrence Frank promises to give Harris more freedom (like making play calls) than the point guard had in Dallas. “We really want him to take ownership with this,” Frank told the media. -netsdaily</div> Dave D'Alessandro - Nets Blast Al Iannazzone - In the 'Zzone Really shows how much trust Frank has in Marcus Williams.
If he's healthy enough, I'd expect him to start. Despite the fact that Marcus is playing well, Frank doesn't really seem to care. I'd expect them to shop Marcus over the summer, either because Frank wants him gone or because Marcus wants to go. He's playing well and deserves the minutes and probably won't get them once Harris is back.

Well, he'll get minutes, but he's probably going to go back to 12-15mpg, and he's playing better than that at this point.
Marcus got too trigger-happy against the Magic last night. He's incredibly inconsistent, and the trends he has are weird- one night, he's looking to shoot, and he makes most of those shots. The next, he disappears. The next, he's looking to pass, and shoot very little. The next, he's looking to shoot again when he should be passing...except he misses almost all of 'em.

Given that Marcus will get at least 18 mpg...if you take into consideration that Vince doesn't have a true backup Marcus is likely to get around 8-10 minutes at SG as well. I wouldn't be shocked to see Marcus average 26 mpg for the rest of the season.

stupidest thing I ever heard, nice way of showing Marcus you have faith in him. You can't bring Devin in slow atleast and work him in, now it's throw him in the starting lineup which w/ Devin I'm telling you book it Marcus is and will be the better passer. I hope if this kid gets shopped it's to a team that will give a 22 yr. old a chance.

Besides it's got nothing to do with giving confidence to Marcus, rather letting your new PG (who's 25 years old, started in the NBA Finals, signed a $43MM contract extension, and that you traded your franchise player for) know this is his team. It's about giving Devin confidence. Amazing how many people are dogging Harris getting minutes over Marcus when he hasn't even played one minute for the Nets yet. Why don't you see what you have before you pass judgement.
I still think we role like the Raptors did with two point gaurds. If Marcus gets good enough, we could even move Harris to the two and have them together.
