You know Frank coached a good game when nobody on this board starts a thread to bitch about him after a win.

    Congratulations, Coach Frank!

I called this one out as soon as Kidd was traded. Lawrence is one of the best play callers out there and when the PG actually listens and runs it, it makes the coach look super smart.

Did a heck of a job with the rotations and getting minutes for the right players at the right time. Like everyone else, Frank spent too much time sucking the d!&% of Jason Kidd. He, like everyone else, looks like they have a new lease on life after the Thorn removed the cancer.

Well, I could say that I wished he played Sean more, but I could understand how difficult it is to spread time around for 5 people over 2 positions.

One of my biggest complaints of Frank are his rotations, and I gotta say I was impressed by his decision to give Diop lots of playing time, and give Stro a shot.

I can't criticize Frank for this... he has like 4 new players to work into the rotation and he's trying to find consistent minutes for everyone. it's hard

I have to say that the team played like it had a top-notch coach tonight.

It is, and they still scored 120 points and everybody was loose and relaxed.

Marcus Williams had ZERO TURNOVERS. Marcus Freaking Williams! The guy who throws six passes a game into the crowd!

I don't think I've seen a happier team in years.

As for Frank, he's got to be happy to have a team that can both score and get stops. His life is a lot easier.

Say what you want about Frank but this guy gives his players a chance to prove they deserve to play. Swift comes back after 2 or was it 3 games out and he plays almost 20 minutes of the game. Sure he didn't play Magloire, Marc Jackson and guys like that much but he did give them chances and they sucked. Also, we don't see what happens at practices so some players like Magloire may not be trying at practice so that off-sets their playing time also.

Let's also remember Thorn finally got rid of Collins and Allen, so now Frank has no choice but to use other Bigs. It also helps that Jkidd is gone. I hope LFrank can utilize Harris and MWill well, like the Raptors with Ford/Calderson...

So you are saying that now that they got rid of bad players and replaced them with better ones, this helps Frank somehow?

I wish Thorn thought of that sooner!

I think he's saying since there are no truly shitty big men on the team Frank can't mess this up...remember it did take til mid-December for Boone and Swat to get some freaking minutes.

If this is Lawrence Frank appreciation thread, Kidd should be among firsts posting here. AJ pulled him out with 34 sec to go, trailing by 2 points and Dallas' ball. Mavs fans are outraged from what I've read

Anyone who thinks Frank plays people who he thinks will cause him to lose has a screw loose.

Boone was injured in the offseason and Williams was a rookie who played two months of basketball in two years.

It's not his fault Magloire is in the final stages of rigor mortis. That's who Thorn gave him.

As soon as those guys were remotely ready, he shoved them into the starting lineup come what may. Still, people complain. Unreal.

    Me too! Same sentiments exactly.

I'm also impressed with the way he declined to play the small ball w/ Boki for long stretches of time, and with the fact that he frequently had two bigs out there instead of one.

I'm also glad that Marcus flourished, with 8 assists and zero turnovers..and Frank didn't feel the need to pull him for Darrell Armstrong.

Plus, the whole team had only 8 turnovers!
