It's a back to back, I'd give the Lakers a little Break. Our three point shooting was way off tonight and Portland's wasn't.

Travis Outlaw also made a bunch of Michael Jordan shots tonight.

The Lakers have the worst record in recent History @ Portland.

The Portland announcers are funny, the Blazers probably won't make it to the playoffs.

**** giving them a break, they've looked sluggish their last three games now.

Outlaw didn't make MJ shots, he made shots that he is capable of. They've got good talent there. They beat us fair and square, they always give us problems. Maybe if ****ing Derek Fisher didn't think he was Michael Jordan, knew his role, and acted it we would have won. But the stupid shit decided he was going to jack up three after three after three.

I saw Outlaw shoot some Kobe style Mid-range jumpers. Those are always difficult and he was on fire tonight.

Fish didn't chuck all the time, he just sucks.

Ugh, I'm glad I didn't get to watch this game. From the box score, it looks like everybody but Kobe had a rough game. Oh well, can't say that I'm worried about the loss. As mentioned, it was the 2nd of a back to back, so I'll give them a bit of a break because of that.

That's Outlaw's game. He's got a sick mid range game, it's not difficult if that's your game.

Fisher 3/10, Farmar and Sasha were both 3/8. Unbelievable.

What a tough loss to swallow, but I suspected it. However, this is a loss that should be critically broken down. Phil failed to be a good coach when he kept Kobe out too long in the 4th. Derek Fisher deserves majority of the blame, offense deserves blame because Kobe didn't take the initiative and they didn't post up Lamar enough. Don't get me started on the defense.

Their small unit when Pryzbilla went out in the second quarter with his third foul RAN us off the court. We could not defend anyone on the perimeter, and kept letting them take wide open three pointers. That's where we lost the game, and the Blazers were very efficient as well.

Eh- I don't know man, Outlaw was 9/13 in the mid range game.

I tip my hat off to him, it was his night but that shouldn't happen.

    No.
Lamar Odom: 17 points on 7/9 shooting and 12 boards.
Luke Walton: 17 points on 7/10 shooting, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists

Those are two players who stepped up big time. Pau's box score was decent, but his game was terrible. He needs to get his shit together if we want to beat Dallas on Sunday.

Yup, I realized that after I posted. I looked at the box and totally forgot about Odom and Walton.

As for Outlaw...I never really saw him as much of a shooter per se. He's got a solid jumper, but he's always struck me as a guy who relies mostly on athletic ability to get his. He's stepped up this year offensively, but I still wouldn't consider him a great shooter by any means.

I don't think it's that Pau played that badly; it's the fact that he's soft (but we already knew that). I noticed it 2 games ago as well. He doesn't have room to work with Alridge and Przybilla in the lane; he can't finish with them bumping him. I'm sure once we get Bynum back, this problem will remedy itself.

Well the lakers had a decent win streak going, but it had to end sometime. Sounds like the game was painful to watch.

I completely mixed up Outlaw's game strength with Webster's strengths, my bad. My apologies to both Moo and Huevon.

I got to watch the whole 4th quarter of this game, my points?

    1. Kobe shouldn't have sat that long.
    2. Fisher is just throwing up shots that Kobe should be tossing up. IF anyone at all.
    3. Sasha turned it up in the 4th, I liked that.
    4. Ronny should've stayed out there with Lamar, I think Ronny is our banger and we needed that most.
    5. We miss Bynum and Ariza, they are the pieces to the Blazers anti-christ when they are in the lineup.

I don't know, just my thoughts, this was a game I think we should've won. 7 of the games this month are being played against Western Conference playoff teams, we need to separate ourselves from the pack. We play Dallas twice, NO once, GSW twice, Utah once, and Houston once. Crunch time fellas.
