<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>SAN ANTONIO -- Jason Kidd took something of a passive-aggressive approach when asked about Tony Parker's comments that he liked the swap of Devin Harris and DeSagana Diop for Kidd.

"The big thing is I just go out there and do my job," Kidd said. "When I look at the best point guards like [John] Stockton and Gary [Payton], those guys, even later in their careers I always respected them because I felt they were the best until they left the game.

"Everybody has the right to their opinion about how they feel, so that's how he feels."

Parker had said Harris and Diop matched up well against the Spurs, so he was glad to see them go. The Spurs received a long, early look at the Mavs' new point guard, who played the entire first quarter.</div>
