After today's Jesus-like (**** Peyton Manning, Huev) performance, if Kobe Bryant is not crowned MVP at season's end, the award loses whatever legacy and how leg it is, has left. 52 points, efficient scoring, took over the game in the 4th, 10 boards including two crucial rebounds off of free throws, 17 straight ft's, 23 in the 4th (?), 8 in OT, and defends the other teams best perimeter player. Motherfuckin' M-V-P!!!

Like Mr.J said "If Kobe doesn't win MVP this year then I'll think they will be a conspiracy against him."I'll be ****ing piss if someone like LeBron would win MVP over Kobe.
i have one guy close to Kobe and thats Paul, but i got Kobe with the MVP (no offense to KG, Bron and Dwight)
Unless the Lakers drastically slip in the standings, which won't happen, I don't see how the league will not give him the MVP. If they did, it would be so blatantly obvious Kobe got robbed. I don't even think David Stern has the balls to pull off something like this. During his 81 point season, they had the excuse of his team "not being good enough." Now, with the Lakers having the #1 seed in the West, and with Kobe playing the best basketball in the world, I don't see how they can come up with any excuses.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Black Mamba @ Mar 2 2008, 08:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Oh, I saw the game Huevon. I tivo'd it. Kobe >>> Peyton..by far.</div> Dude, different sports either way. Why waste more time on that debate? Agree to disagree. Peyton >>> any active punk. Only people he needs to worry about are the legends of the past. I'm just glad Kobe handed out another Maverick-bitchslap fest again, sluts.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Black Mamba @ Mar 2 2008, 09:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Tom Brady > Peyton Manning ;-)</div> Brady had to win the Superbowl with that 07 team if he were better, that was inexcusable. He had the most loaded roster ever, and the Giants only scored 17 points. Manning already has better post and regular season stats. Manning family for life.
Personally, I hate all the Mannings. I think they're all stuck up pricks. And Huev, no disrespect to Peyton, but his stats aren't up to snuff with Brady's in the postseason. Brady has lost what, 3 games in his playoff career? And oh by the way, he's got 3 SBs to Peyton's one...but lets not start this here, I can just agree to disagree. As for the MVP, Kobe deserves it. If the writers don't realize that this year, then they need to remove their heads from the asses. I respect what LeBron is doing, but he's doing it in a piss poor conference. If you throw his Cavs in the West, they might not make the playoffs, in the East, they're top 4. Personally, unless it's KG, I think any player from the East should simply be disqualified from MVP ballots because of how awful the East is this year. Anyone can beat the piss out of piss poor competition. Kobe is having a sensational season, he's playing with injuries galore, and his team has the best record in the West. If they stay there, which I expect they will, there is no reason at all for Kobe to NOT be the MVP. If he loses, it'll be official that there is a conspiracy against Kobe.

Talk about Double Standard. Brady's accomplishments came when he was a game manager, I'm not really impressed by the biggest chokejob in the history of the NFL either. My sig for life. Of course Kobe's the MVP, because those douche reporters value winning so much. Is he having the best statistical season? No, but the MVP isn't about that.

No one player is bigger than the organization, and bot Eli and Archie basically decided that Eli was too good for San Diego. However, I still take Brady over him if I have to win a playoff game.
Yes we are going nowhere FAST (like the Suns), let's get back to the Lakers cause I'm never backing down from my position with the information I have collected on both those rival Quarterbacks (Manning/Brady).

put your bets in Vegas fellas. From my understanding, as of last week, Kobe was 4th in odds to win the award, behind Lebron, Paul, and KG. I believe it was something like 3 to 1 kobe would win
Well, if I was halfway near Vegas I'd contemplate it. Too bad I'm in Iowa and well, that's far away. I also don't have money to go betting right now either. And honestly, as long as the MVP isn't LeBron or Nash, I'll be mostly happy.
The insulting thing is that 50 wins in the East is what i keep hearing qualifies LeBron for the MVP. That shit would not translate to 50 wins in the West if he had to play most of his games here.
