Really, how the hell did we end up with 8 assists last night? I didn't think that was possible, when in the previous game, Marcus had 8 assists alone; and Vince and Devin had 5 each, for a team total of 25 assists (, 8 TO). So what happened? Why did we go from 25 assists one night, to 8 assists the next? I believe that one reason is because of the Spurs' interior D. Our guards get most of their assists from dishing it to the big men down low, and when they did that, most of the time it'd turn into a blocked shot or turnover. Think we can improve from that, and recover in time for the next game?

it was awful, no one hitting shots, everything came off isolation, reason why? the bucks are the worst defensive team in the league while the spurs are the best
The Spurs' defense was definitely a big factor. But the Nets had plenty of decent quality perimeter shots. Of course perimeter shooting is one of Nets' biggest team weaknesses. You don't get assists when people don't hit shots. If a team like Toronto had gotten those same shots, could have been a lot different outcome.
Nets horrible perimeter shooting is the main reason for 8 Assists. Every smart team will just crowd the interior making penetration non exitstant, and they can, because we have 2 players that stretch the floor, and nachbar is not one of them. I remember hearing Marv say somthing like we shoot tons of 3's now when it used to be the opposite, and yea that's because we can't get any dribble penetration. It's a bad combo, we'r being locked into having to shoot tons of 3's and Vince and Harris are the only ones who are actually hitting them.
its called we couldnt shoot... we had SOOOO many good looks in that game... and we couldnt hit the shots... the thing is... if a player knows hes off from the perimeter... WHY NOT DRIVE?!?! HUH!!??? its a simple concept... your shot not falling then go into the lane... (except dont be like RJ and PLOW people over...
