<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Chris Bosh, the Raptors all-star who missed his second consecutive game last night with a sore right knee, was described on a local sports radio station yesterday as kryptonite to the self-styled Superman who calls this city home. And with kryptonite tucked safely away in a trainer's room, Dwight Howard, the cape-donning dunk champion who is also pretty good in his alter-ego as a workaday NBA player, found plenty of room to soar. Howard scored 16 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter to key the Magic's 102-87 win over the Raptors, who lost their third consecutive contest. Although the visitors addressed their rebounding woes a game after they were humiliated on the glass by the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday, they struggled mightily to find reliable ways to score with Bosh on the shelf. And the results of their search weren't frequently pretty. Anthony Parker racked up a fine 19 points and nine rebounds, but a long list of Toronto's would-be offensive saviours never did find their range. Toronto's starting front line of Rasho Nesterovic, Andrea Bargnani and Jamario Moon combined for a 5-for-25 debacle from the field. Even the resident marksman, Jason Kapono, who went 1-for-4 from the field and didn't make a three-pointer for the 12th straight game, chucked an unlikely attempt off the padding on the side of the backboard from close range. T.J. Ford, apparently of the belief that it fell to him and him alone to ignite the comeback in the fourth quarter, ended up with 20 points but turned the ball over seven times in the single-minded flurry. "We need him to score, especially with Chris out, but he's also got to keep the other guys involved," coach Sam Mitchell said of Ford. "Seven turnovers is too many. He's got to find that happy medium between scoring and passing."</div> Source: The Toronto Star
