<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>Jamaal Magloire’s criticisms are subtle but not subject to interpretation. As Jeff Caplan of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram writes, the newly minted Maverick “laid blame for his sedentary existence [in New Jersey] on Lawrence Frank”. Magloire says he didn’t play because of “coaching decisions. My game hasn’t changed from when I’ve been an All-Star,” Magloire said. “My work ethic hasn’t changed, in fact it’s improved.”</div>

Why does EVERYONE blame Frank now?

[IMG] he's claiming he's better than he was during his All-Star season? That's funny.

Next, when he doesn't get back to that form it will all be because Frank didn't play him for 3 months.

Come on now, everyone knows it's coach's decision on everything. Thorn did not come down and tell Frank to not play the guy I just made a 4 million dollar commitment to. It was Frank's decision, and why it keeps coming up, the media keeps asking him.

That doesn't necessarily mean it was completely Frank's fault for Magloire not playing.

Not that I dont agree that a coach who utilizes a fast pace offense, and also has experience in developing young players is a good thing but how is this assessment relevant in regards to Frank's treatment of Jamal Magliore who is clearly a veteran player better suited for a slow methodical offense ?

Normally the best way to beat a zone defense is to utilize the shooters on your team to break the defense...Frank should have done that.

Oh wait, I forgot. We don't have any shooters.

dont you think hes wasting the player's years of being in a nets uniform. theyre all fresh and excited right now so we need a new coach. weve seen what frank can do for like 4 years. its not gonna change...

I was just playing on your words...for the record yes I would like a new coach, but not until after this season...we'd be better served waiting til the offseason.

Yeah you kick it out to someone who then takes a jumpshot, meaning not having shooters to make the shot could be a definate problem.

This is the one thread where Frank should be applauded for not playing someone this year. And yet people are still bitching about his coaching. Doesn't anyone remember how awesome Magloire played when he was on the court for the Nets? New Jersey has underacheived, but I have yet to hear a decent replacement for Frank mentioned in all the complaining.

I thought we were talking about Magloire's lack of reality [IMG]

    edit: thank you, charles.

So you guys bashing Frank in this thread, based on the context, are taking Magloire's side on this one? How?
