I cannot spend my hard earned money on this team anymore.

How does a team with this amount of talent lose to the grizzlies twice??!!!

how do you not use stromile swift against his former team? He knows these guys moves and some of their plays i am sure. Also how come frank doesnt use stro in more pick and rolls? The man dives hard to the basket everytime but he never receives the ball!!! With his jumping ability he should get a basket or go to the line everytime!

Vince carter not scoring in the 2nd and 3rd is just disgusting.

Frank should have some dignity and step down. He is over his head in the NBA. Screaming out plays on the sidelines does not make you a head coach. Phil jackson doesnt even leave his seat because he knows his team is prepared.

Byron scott hardly ever yells out sets because his team is prepared. Too bad we dont still have that man.

Talk about support and fan base. Look at how long the Knicks have been shitty, yet New Yorkers go out and show support for their team. Obviously the Nets are going to through a rough patch, but the most important thing is to stick with your team. Now you know why Izod Center is so empty.

First, I dont care whether you go to games or not.
Second, talent is not everything. Granted the Nets have been a disappointment all season long, but guess what? Get used to losing because we just begun a rebuilding process when we traded kidd.
Third, I didnt watch the second half, but in the first half Swift played like garbage. And guess what? Swift has never been a good player in this league. He has been an underachiever his whole career and the only thing that has kept him in this league is his athleticism. He has low bball IQ, no jumpshot, and is barely average defensive player. Keep in mind that the player he got traded for was Jason Collins.
Fourth-wtf, did you just compare Frank to Phil?

Honestly, I'm surprised people call themselves fans.

basically, yeah. if they were in the Prud, they'd be sure to get more fans but who wants to watch a team play in the middle of a swamp on a tuesday night while being guaranteed to face traffic and the team isnt a title contender. our home playoff games suck, kind of embarrasing watching other buildings be filled up yet the izod a hollow sleepys store

I honestly would be able to go to 10 home games if they played in Newark. I usually just got to 1 or maybe even 2!

Frank is the worst coach in the NBA. I can't take it anymore. Two points guard in a game, not giving Swat Williams, and Swift significant minutes, etc etc.

    KIKI do something!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same for me...I usually try to hit 2-3 games a year...I would probably hit between 15-20 games if it was in Newark, it's a nice arena and it's so freaking easy to get to.

I am an open minded fellow. But you gotta be kidding me. You really think Byron Scott's teams are better prepared than Lawrence Frank's teams?

If you wanted to argue on grounds of "brings a sense of championship poise" or "knows the rigors of an NBA season" or "has gravitas because he has multiple rings" then you at least would have some reasonable points. Byron Scott does a lot of things as a coach that Frank probably won't ever be able to.

But Byron got fired from the Nets because his players (err... player) didn't think he worked hard enough at game prep. And Lawrence Frank is the only coach in Kidd's history that he hasn't turned on.

    That is extremely debatable.

Well it also didn't hurt that Lawrence Frank never said a bad thing about Jason or ever even criticized him for his play. Basically Frank kissed Jason's ass every second they knew eachother or at least that's the impression I get. I dunno If I was a coach and a guy quit on my team I'd at least throw a veiled shot at the guy like Thorn does every now and then.

    Haha, fun.

I've always wanted to use this video. Fellow Nets fans, those of you who are used to winning seasons, the playoffs, and getting past the first round...get prepared for disappointment, losing, and poor play. Because it's extremely possible.

Not saying it's not possible for this team to get it together, because we could still do it...the season isn't over, yet. But as it looks now, we suck. Unless we could get it together, get used to it. Don't just give up on the team, and stop being a fan for a while until they're good again. Stick with it, and it'll feel that much better once we start winning again.

Give up on this team now, until they're good again...and you'll be nothing but a Boston fan. [IMG] [IMG]

In order to organize the usual FIAR FRANK, THRON! sentiments, feel free to use this thread to bitch about the coach.

Inspiration can be found here: www.firefrank.com

    Have fun.
