did you know NO wanted to trade JR for wright in the boki deal? another chance blown to smitherines, denver will resign him, young, athletic shooters dont grow on trees
More than likely he'll earn more than the mid-level, and even if he accepted it Denver might match. I would be open to a trade for him...

I would like to see us make a run at Smith and Charlie Villanueva in the offseason, they both have been in and out of there respective rotations, have expressed unhappiness at times, and are extremely talented. Also they are young with Villanueva being 23 and Smith being 22, they could be part of a rebuilding effort for Brooklyn. Another guy who might be available is Kevin Martin who is currently feuding with Reggie Theus...not as likely but we should explore all options.

Where's the link? It's utter bullshit and here's why: the Hornets were working two deals the day of the Boki trade 1) the Boki for Jackson and Johnson deal and 2) a Brent Barry for JR Smith deal. The problem was after they completed the deal with the Nets, they realized they had made a cap calculation mistake and needed a third team. So they had to run around trying to find a third team to make it work. They finally did but by then it was 10 minutes after the trade deadline and the league refused to accept the deal. The Spurs were so sure it was going down they told Barry not to board the team plane. When the trade fell apart, he had to fly commercial to catch up. Get your facts straight or stop posting bullshit.

Numbers kinda in relation to how AI and Melo were going off last night too. No one on the Nets like that 2 night in/night out. -Petey
