not good to hear, he would be excellent backing up vince, instead we might be stuck with a poor shooter who plays no defense, cant pass, rebound and is a walking turnover. oh well, this team isnt good anyways, he'll fit right in

how about just trading unused mo ager for unused marco belinelli? both belinelli and ager were known as shooters but ager is a fastbreak type of offensive player while marco flourishes off screens. ager is more of a sg/sf while belinelli is more of a sg/pg. we need belinelli's skillset more than ager's and the warriors seem to need ager's athleticism and running game more than marco's shooting.

Sounds like a good fit and could be beneficial for both teams. Thron do it! The problem is there is more inherent value in belinelli since he is a 22year old foreign national trying to make it in his rookie season rather than a 24 year old second year player who has yet find regular minutes on a team.

i think the main complaint the warriors have in marco is that he is too slow to defend pgs but too small or weak to defend opposing sgs...though i never saw that when italy outclassed the us dream team a few years ago...and the who is he in the warriors who can talk about defense?

NO WAY does GS give up bellinelli, although they will have a logjam at the swing positions assuming they resign Azuibuike.

well he is only a rookie so i had thought as much but come next year's trade deadline and they still haven't used him gs may be willing to give him up...it also gives the nets a chance to evaluate how ager can fit in...

i was just saying gs prefers players with shooting ability (not necessarily pure shooters) PLUS he should be able to scrap, run and finish above the rim - all ager's strengths at least when he was in college...nets need a pure shooter who is like a combo guard-type...
