The guy loves basketball, but he didn't want to be here, so it was very easy for him to just go out and do the things he loves most (grabbing rebounds, initiating the break and collecting assists) all while playing passive defense at times and not communicating. The guy is a great player... so actually it was very easy for him. For Antoine Wright it would be hard. You think you would notice the team playing worse when you remove a HOF type player, but they play the same with 5 new faces that haven't learned the system. Not noticing the loss of the triple doubles. Actually there is one difference: they aren't falling behind by double digits early and often. That was usually a guarantee with these guys. Considering there are five new faces that need to learn what the Nets are doing that's pretty impressive. And I'm not saying Kidd made them lose. Saying he didn't help them win all that often this season.

That he was indifferent to losing... it didn't hurt his cause. Gottta admit it's hard to be traded from a winning team.

Just meant he was not hyped up to win them night in and night out... indifferent.
