This has to be a statement game for Kidd.

The fans and media are starting to question if Kidd was the answer, so Kidd has to take over, if he still can.

If the Mavs manage to win this without Dirk, its huge.

My heart is racing. This is such an important game for the Mavs.

Are the Mavs your second favorite team now?

    Yes.

I'm starting to get concerned now. Dallas is just bricking shots, and Landry is killing them on the inside.

Howard must be really injured because he is a non-factor. JT is keeping us alive, but other players need to get involved.

    Kidd got benched?

Josh Howard and Jerry Stackhouse have really fallen off as of late. Neither can seem to hit a shot. I hope both find their stroke come playoff time, or else it'll be another first round exit.

Looking at the way the Rockets are beating the Mavs in almost every statistical category, I'm not sure we could win WITH Dirk.

    Dallas is getting murked.

Houston has just playing terrific basketball as of late. They seem so confident out there, and much more relaxed

Awful game. Dirk is out; Howard, Terry, Bass, Stackhouse are all having a terrible game. It's just a recipe for disaster.

Kidd is getting his teammates open shots, and yet he doesn't seem as aggressive today.

Mavs need to get their heads in the game. Howard and Stack really need to step it up. It's a thin line between sitting at home or playing in the playoffs. Man...

    I'm out to study.

I'm pretty disappointed with how Dallas lost. Sir Charles even expected them to win. No miracles needed there. Without Yao, I think Dallas has the upperhand on this one even with Dirk suspended. Kidd again was reluctant to take a shot. He took 6 shots in 30 minutes. That's just not enough. Especially without Dirk. I thought that he had a lot of opportunity to score. I still don't believe that he has lost that much of a step. He has to look back on his game against Sacramento. Kidd has to work double time with their next game against his former team New Jersey no less. For one, Devin Harris will have to something to say and so will the rest of the Nets. Kidd will have his hands full against the team he supposedly gave up on. It's going to ba a big game on Kidd's part. Dallas is 4-5 with him and has lost 3 straight. You want drama? Mavs and Nets, drama is what your gonna get.
