The Bears signed Brandon Lloyd today after signing Marty Booker the other day. As a resident of the DC area for most of Lloyd's tenure as a Redskins fan, all I can say is this guy sucks ass.
Bears offense looks awful this up and coming season. I think they should probably look into drafting Rashard Mendenahall in the 1st round to give them something. It really all is on Devin Hester. If he develops maybe that'll do something on offense. If not, the defense is going to be under pressure. I think the Bears D when healthy is rock solid though.

Is the Super Bowl going to be held in the Windy city & the "home" team gets complimentary tickets? All Bears O needs now is a QB & TB. I concur w/ Mike about Lloyd. He did not exactly tear it up w/ the Niners either. Marty did okay in Miami all things considered.
Booker was always just good enough to be "ok" with the Bears too. He's milquetoast. When your best guy is barely ok, you're gonna suck, I hate to say.
Lets not forget about Bradley, he had great chemistry with Rex, and the 2 TEs will really open up the outside of the field. This is going to be a potent offense.
^ LoL. You've lost the two best receivers from an already terrible passing game. I don't see where you could get such unreasonable optimism.

Honestly, I thought the only positive aspect of your team's offense was the play of Bernard Berrian (who has now left). Unless they're incredibly active during the draft or pull out a crop like Jerry Reese did this past season for the Giants, I think this offense is several years away from being rebuilt. And by then, who knows what state the defense will be in?

I'm really expecting we're gonna draft one actually.

If you really think Hester will be anything special on offense then I've got 2 words 4 ya...........Deion Sanders.
I've got little faith in Hester becoming anything other than a ridiculous return man. I still remember that game against the Giants when he outsprinted his defenders but dropped a guaranteed TD pass.

My thought is he probably tried to play through an injury last season since he lost his chance to start the year before because he didnt play through an injury and it was one he shouldnt have. He will be rested and ready to go this year.
