Courtney Lee is listed on Netsdaily.

I don't really watch college ball, but draftexpress says he's a great shooter, great defender, high basketball IQ, good strength/NBA body, but not the most athletic and ball handling is suspect.

Sounds a lot like Antoine Wright, minus the strength, but he does sound promising as a shooter.

Does anyone else have an informed opinion?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (NetsDaily)</div><div class='quotemain'>With two first round picks and one second rounder, Nets’ scouts are hitting the conference tournaments this month. Gregg Polinsky, the Nets chief scout, was in Mobile Alabama, this weekend for the Sunbelt Conference championship, one of 17 NBA scouts on hand. The prime prospect appears to be Courtney Lee, Western Kentucky’s 6′-6″ sharpshooter. He’s been likened to the Raptors’ Anthony Parker. Lee is projected as a late first rounder or early second rounder.</div>

Sounds good to me. I wonder how good of a defender he is.

Your drawing comparisons to Antoine does make me nervous, though. I'd like to see him play.

Judging by his stats --- he's way better than Wright was. I think Lee will assimilate into the NBA a lot faster too because he is stronger physically.

Eh, it does seem as if he'd be better than Wright. I read some of his DraftExpress profile (in between homework problems) and it said he had to basically carry his team on his back this season, and be the team leader...and he's really stepped up.

As far as I know, Antoine Wright had 1 or 2 other guys on the team to share the load (including Acie Law), so he didn't really have to lead his team, and take on too big of a role.

Of course, this is all based on my perspective.

That's why he's being considered in the mav's pick range (if you had read [IMG] )

I rather we combine our two picks into one better one instead of picking another Wright.
