He hasn't been consistent but his numbers are pretty solid for a rookie that has to be shifted from the bench to the starting line-up as the injuries pile up.
As I've said before, I could see this kid becoming a 20 PPG scorer in his prime. He just knows how to score and has that scoring mentality that you see in guys like Kobe and Gilbert.
I went to the Raptors vs. Wizards game, and this kid impressed me. He had to nice dunks over Moon and was very explosive of the base line. He jumps with such ease, it's amazing. Like GArenas said, Young has the scoring mentality. Thing is, he seems undersized. He is a PG or SG?
I like Nick Young a lot, as well, and he was a great pick at 16. Most people figured he was going to New Orleans at 13. As GArenas said, he just knows how to score, and the biggest thing about him is his mid-range game. There are very few young players... or players period... that utilize that it. Young does, and I think that's what catches my attention. Nick Young is going to be what Gerald Green should have been.
