Schedule looks tough. How many games do you see them winning/losing? If they go 4-17 they will be in a good position in the lottery. Whats the lowest seed you think they'll get in the East? They are currently 9th.

Those are the teams I doubt we can get lower record than. With that being sad, some luck with the lottery balls could put us in a better situation.

lol I was thinking about creating the same thread [IMG]
Here is my (optimistic!) projection:

vs Cleveland - L
vs Utah - L
@ Chicago - L
vs Atlanta - W
vs Denver - L
@ Philadelphia - L
@ New York - W
vs Indiana - W
@ Indiana - L
vs Phoenix - L
vs Philadelphia - W
@ Detroit - L
vs Toronto - L
@ Cleveland - L
@ Toronto - L
@ Milwaukee - W
vs Charlotte - W
@ Boston - L

That gives us 6 - 12 (and it's optimistic! prognosis)
What place are we going to be in? Definitely lottery, but with what percentage?

Carter15Nets that's the way I could see it shaping up, too.

Getting around a 6th overall pick might put Eric Gordon out of reach, but would put us in contention for Mayo. I just hope we don't squander the pick on a big man.

...although it might be cheaper than resigning Diop [IMG]

if we get like 8th or something throw in the dallas pick and move up a couple and get eric gordon

i would love that vc for marbury trade someone proposed on these boards, that would give us more cap for lebron in '10

Mayo has said he's staying. Whether or not you believe him is one thing. Whether or not you think he'll have that same opinion around draft-time is another thing.

Atlanta, Chicago and Indiana are must LOSE games. If RJ/Carter is to come up with a mysterious ailment and have to sit then it should be those games. We are too close in the standing to those teams so we have to make sure we fall below them for a better draft pick.

6-13 over the last 19 games...would put us at 33-49 probably good for the 7th pick in the draft.

It would be sad and funny at the same time if this team somehow made the playoffs.

I don't think Eric Gordon is a good idea. He's Marcus and Devins height and we already have those two playing together.

unlike williams and harris this guy can flat out shoot, we so need shooters, plus eric is a sg at 220 lbs while dev and williams are pgs

so far we're all must be ashamed of our predictions [IMG] I'll be happy to print this page and eat it if the Nets will go like this to the end of the season!
