I don't get why he shoots so many threes? People want him to but there was a reason he beat his career high of three with us. Driving is his game and we should allow Marcus to shoot those threes.

he said that he's just exploring the game, since he didn't have much freedom in Dallas. I believe he'll settle with what he does well. no worries.

Lawrence frank doesn't know that he should stop players from trying things they're not good at.

The Nets offense is a stand-still, cutting without purpose, ball holding "offense". The reason the team shoots so many jumpers is we have no choice. A poor offense coupled with players who either are told not to, or choose not to drive.

I told you guys about him, Marcus Williams was beginning to show some life and then bang ! ya handed PG duties to Mr. I was traded for Jason Kidd now they both look shot, Harris even more because atleast Marcus got Boone,VC and RJ involved, Devin has been a disappointment.

(BUT HEY DE-VIN HA-RRIS CLAP, CLAP, CLAPCLAPCLAP)

He's 24. He can hit the three (in the sense that it is very possible) so why not let him explore it? He's shown that he can get hot and change a game based on his shooting so why purposefully limit him?

For a fan base that is so quick to lash out at L.Frank's treatment of younger players, ya'll are sure quick to want to limit them yourselves.

GM they are getting worse w/ him as the PG, I saw Marcus make people better and then unfortunately he plays the SAS and loses the job, meanwhile Devin because of the debut game can't shoot his 3's whenever he wants throw turnovers left and right and not a word, Marcus is younger has the better PG skills and has been given the short stick. He had a chance to be a special PG in this league ripped by LF & a trade requirement. I'm not on the D.Harris bandwagon train he still hasn't proven much as a starting PG and the guys around him have regressed IDK how but it has.

Marcus isn't making anyone better, and Devin isn't making anyone worse. They're different styles of PG on a bad team that is beyond the point of salvaging a season. Also keep in mind that the duo is asked to follow in the footsteps of one of the greatest PG's of all time.

    Snap!

You all are gonna need some aloe vera, cause you just got burned.

I like the idea of Devin getting comfortable shooting. I think that he as shown a willingness to work hard on improving his game (unlike a certain former Nets point guard), and he never was asked to shoot in Dallas. I wouldn't be surprised if he came back next year with a MUCH better jump shot.

Does anyone else besides me feel that Devin should be the sixth man off the bench?

nah I'm not gonna hate on that he plays D, his quarterbacking the offense is what sucks. I told people since day 1 make him the 6th man, it works better, instead they risked Marcus's developement and now could risk Devin's too. His problem in Dallas was he didn't know when to shut up, Avery had to get him to run the offense the right way and even then it was a struggle. He thinks he's Steve Kerr or A.I. and that's a big problem because once a player has that in his mind it could take awhile to get it out. It's ridiculous how Marcus here for 2 seasons 3 counting this one you'd think he is the most experienced PG w/ the Nets system w/e it is, Devin comes what 2 weeks w/ the playbook and matchup all the sudden he's the starter , does that really make sense to anyone ?
