I mean what do you expect, he loses the game, pouts, and then refuses to speak to his family?</div> this team is "fighting" for a playoff spot, how is it meaningless? they're lucky the hawks lost. </div> So you do expect him to hold a grudge against his family after playing a game? Yikes!
Vince is talented but he isn't a winner... Games like these are the epitome of why I was cringing when I heard his extension... If he's hurt sit him, otherwise he has no excuse. Oh and Fire Frank.

And he brought up Lebron to begin with. And Carter isn't the only guy who goes and shares some hugs, conversations, smiles, or prayers with opposing players after losses or during games. In fact, Darrell Armstrong was the first guy off the Nets bench to go over and give a hug and strike up a conversation with McGrady after the loss.

Why don't all of you on this board that can not stand Vince go to the next home game and wait for him to get out of his car at the arena and tell them how much you despise him and how much of a disgrace he is
this is genius...........hahaha................I remember the time I wore a tmac jersey to a rockets game with tissue paper taped all over it, and a big piece of paper where his name goes on the back saying "Soft".............
Man, we can't ship VC and RJ off this team fast enough... That RJ for Childress deal is still running around in my head. It's genius!

do you guys realise how much you sound like Raptors fans from VC's last year, year and half in T.O.??? the guy is weak mentally and like the Tin Man has not heart. he's all tough and great when things are going his way and the least bit of adversity and he backs down. He's a quitter and I have no respect for him.
Sharing some laughs with his cousin does not mean carter is a quitter I agree with the fact that he is not aggresive enough and he should be aggresive for the final playoff spot but without Carter, the Nets will be far far worse...
If some of you dislike Vince so much stop watching the games, simple as that if he's traded and this team continues to play terrible and Frank is still here then you can find someone new to blame
Carter is what he is. The problem is that he's the Nets best player, and that's not his fault. When the Sixers still had Iverson, the fans were delighted with Iguodala. After Iverson was traded, the fans started trashing Iguodala when the team remained mediocre. Iguodala actually stepped up his game, but the fans' expectations went through the roof. It's pointless to blame Carter because he can't lead the team to success. Ray Allen could not carry the Sonics by himself. Paul Pierce couldn't do it for the Celtics, and Kevin Garnett never saw the second round with the Timberwolves. But you don't see Celtics fans trashing any of those stars now because together they and their supporting cast are getting it done. To those who would dump Carter for expiring contracts: how would you upgrade the Nets shooting guard position? What SGs are better than Carter, and how do you realistically expect to acquire them for the Nets?

a bunch of toronto and carter haters badmouthing a dude talking to his cousin? At least he didn't fake migraines.
