Shut some guys down and let the young guys play. Cook getting some valuable minutes in pointless games that you can't really get made at. Maybe give Sean the job back and just rest Krstic for the rest of the year. Even make some room for Ager to get plenty of playing time because you never know what you got until you give it a chance. Just look at Beno Udrih.
Swift is 28 years old though. Plus, he will be hear next year anyways. I also wouldn't mind Brian Hill or Bill Cartwright get some time coaching as well.
I suppose this could be the only justifiable way of losing games; disguised as wanting to give a relatively young team minutes, and letting Vince Carter fully heal his ankle. I suppose that's not [the T-Word], and rather a smart decision to "get busy living, or get busy dying".

We let him play while we are tanking and he will put up big numbers and think he can earn bigger money.

give Vince and maybe Krstic some time to nurse injuries, maybe not sitting the whole game, but limited minutes. give Sean Krstic's minutes, and have Ager and Boki split Vince's see what Ager can do and see if Boki can work through his problems.
Shutting down our guys is not the answer. The Heat shut down Wade because they are building around him for the future and don't want to risk injury. We are not looking to build around VC or RJ (I hope not anyway) and playing them is the only way to increase their trade value.

I'm not going to argue that giving him that extension was not stupid because it was but the situation is different now. If they could get something for Carter, I'm sure they would pull the trigger.
