<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Duhon, who is in the final year of his contract, didn't speak with the media Monday but said during an interview on WMVP-AM (1000) that he realizes he's not in the team's plans beyond this season. ''I probably won't be back,'' he said. ''I don't know what the summer has for me. I don't know what's going to happen with Jim. John has a lot of decisions to make. He's made some mistakes, but for the most part, he's done a great job trying to make this team competitive.'' Chicago Sun-Times</div> So...where will he end up next? I think a few good places for him are Denver, Portland, and Orlando. IMO Orlando would be the best place for him. They're in need of a good point guard who can pass, shoot a lil, and play some damn defense.
Heh... he can shoot a lil, but only a lil. I think he'd be awesome backing up Rajon Rondo next year. New York might not be a bad place for him, since they need a PG, but anyone expecting him to be a starter (unless it's on a high-powered offensive team) will end up disapointed.

Duhon is a great fit for us. A leader, can hit open shots, smart player, works hard on defense, and he has some playoff experience. He'd fit beautifully here, although I'm not quite sure if we're #1 on his list if he wants some good run and/or a big pay increase. Rondo's minutes or only going to increase year-by-year, and there probably won't be much more than about 14-15 mpg available to Duhon here at the 1-spot. When we go small, which we all know Doc is in love with, he can be used in spurts... but not often and that isn't ideal. There have been draft-day rumors revolving around Duhon and the Celtics two years straight, ironically. We'll see what happens, but if we bring him in this summer I'd be more than happy.
He's probably going to take most of the MLE for Boston to sign him. Wherever he goes, he's going to be well liked.
