    When i said rip, i meant as if sumthin like dat wud happen, and y wud i let this go? this yr draft class is really good and if raps dont get media attention then we cant get good picks, and toronto isnt a hot market u kno?

    I think the idea is that young guys will go Kenny Anderson on us and say no to Toronto.

    Winning is the cure for everything, though. Players want to go to Salt Lake these days because the Jazz are winning. Salt Lake is a million times worse than the Toronto stereotype.

    Actually, the Anderson example is an interesting one, because in 2004 (IIRC) he didn't have an NBA team and him and his agent floated out a report that he wanted to play in Toronto and was bummed when they didn't call. Guy must have a short memory, but it goes to show that the perception of a team can change radically in a short period of time.

    I believe that with Isiah Thomas as our General Manager most NCAA and high school draftees would be willing to overlook our northern climate and weak dollar.

    ...oh, wait.
