Should be interesting. If they do, what do you think of McGrady winning MVP?

I don't see it happening. In fact, I see their winning streak ending this Sunday against the Lakers.

They'd have to win the next 14 games, and in that stretch they have:

vs. Bobcats, vs. Lakers, vs. Celtics, @ Hornets, @ Warriors, @ Suns, vs. Kings, vs. Wolves, @ Spurs, @ Kings, @ Blazers, @ Sonics, @ Clippers, vs. Sonics

Some pretty tough games in there. I don't think they'll do it. But then again, I didn't think this streak would go anywhere as near as long as it has.

Look at the Rockets schedule. They've been beating up on mostly easy competition, they barely played any tough opponents. Not taking away from their accomplishment, because they have impressed me tremendously, but I just don't see them winning the next 13 games in a row.

The way they have been playing, the Rockets can beat anybody so yes, I can easily see it happening on Sunday. The Lakers would do well not to underestimate them...

Read the thread xCLAVEx, the thread is about the Lakers' 33 game winning streak.

Considering 20+ games has happened what, 3 times now? I'd highly doubt the Rockets without Yao have a chance to break the 33 game record. I love T-mac, but he just doesn't have enough help to win 33 in a row.

Personally, I'm shocked that their still rolling on. Howver, their schedule, as posted above, is ridiculous in the coming weeks. 7 of their next 14 are against playoff teams, and with the Blazers added in, 8 are against above .500 squads. Good luck.

I got confused because there are two questions in the thread title.

Yeah, I understand. I think they can beat LA Sunday, especially with how we've been playing lately, but I don't think they can snap that streak.

True, that 33 win game streak by the 72 Lakers...wow.

+1... that is why i feel partially bad for tmac and co.

they know that they wont get anywhere in the playoffs that is why they are playing all out right now

BTW, KB24 will snap that streak... even without Bynum and Gasol
