Hansbrough IS what the Nets need, in next years draft. No way he comes out this year so lets grab a swingman this year and then Hansbrough next year. I doubt he'll be a lottery pick b/c the NBA will question his size since he plays like a Center but had the body of a SF. He's the kind of energy and hustle we need on our team though.

Gordon? Buddinger? Douglas-Roberts? Lee? Foster? </div> The lottery pick should be on the best available player, which in most cases will be a wing. I'm a big fan of both Batum and Gallinari. For the later pick Foster, Sam Young and the underrated Kyle Weaver are of interest to me. </div> I would like to think Batum and Gallinari will be available when the Nets pick, but I doubt it. Gallinari is one of those international guys who move up very quickly just before the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the top 5. Batum, I can't imagine, will be there beyond #10. But they are high on my list as well. I saw Batum in the Hoops Summit last year and thought he was amazing. Have only seen highlights of Gallinari but what I saw I liked a lot. For the second pick, I would not be surprised to see the Nets go for Devon Hardin, who they worked out last year and liked. Overall, I like this draft. Last year's draft was WAY overhyped. Instead of being one of the great drafts, it could turn out to be mediocre. </div> I'll be surprised if the Nets don't end up with a top 10 pick so I allow myself to "dream" about the Nets landing one of the two. As for Hardin, as much as I like him, it would be pointless for the Nets to draft him as they already have young big men with limited offensive games.

The only high pick who looks like he'll definitely be a bust is Hawes, and seriously, who didn't see that coming? I don't know how to define "a great draft," but it still looks like there could be 20 or so rotation NBA players out of it, which I think would be pretty incredible.

Don't worry guys. We'll go O.J. Mayo with our top 10 pick then a swing man with our other first rounder and another pure shooter who deserves a shot from a small school or Europe in the second round. Then next year we can get Hansbrough and LeBron in 2010. Its as simple as that
ummm i love han's game but do you guys think of kevin love's game? i feel like his post game is more polished than hans

very true... well they will still struggle vs solid PF's in the NBA... i dont kno maybe im wrong just a feeling but i dont question either guys hunger to win or effort... they both play with emotion and heart
Why do you feel they'll struggle on the next level? (I thought this way about Hansbrough last year before he bulked up)
i mean they will struggle scoring at will but thats everybody, i think the person in this draft who is goin to make an impact right away is gordon... but of course it has to be on a team where they are given the opportunity to showcase their talent
