Here's my list: --Flores, Guatemala --Do national parks and monuments count? If so, I'll go with a cave called Actun Tunichil Muknal, in Belize's Cayo District where I was last week. don't step on the mayan human skeletal remains --Garden City, Kansas. If there was a place in the U.S. I'd dare to name, this would be it. --Alesund, Norway. Only reachable by the coastal steamer that delivers mail. --Islands of Manihi and Rangiroa, in the Tuomotu archipelago. In the middle of nowhere. --Algiers, Algeria. Don't advise it. --Lake Sevan, Armenia. High in the Caucasus mountains. Halfway between the capitals of Armenia (Yerevan) and Georgia (Tblisi), if you drive it. --Golyazi, Turkey. A little fishing village near Iznik and Bursa. These are probably the most out-of-the way place I've been. Has anyone been there?
