Man, it's a good thing the Hall of Fame doesn't mean shit, because otherwise this would really, really piss me off. Then again, the point is totally moot because he ain't winning a championship with that team.

question: will he be booed next time he plays in IZOD? IMO his on court actions during tenure with the Nets command respect for a guy, but his off-court behavior leaves sour taste in my mouse.

Originally, I probably would have applauded my ass off, but this whole situation shows how much of a baby he is.
His career is defined by what he did with the Nets not the Suns or Mavericks. He can go in wearing whatever jersey he likes but people will think of the Nets when they see him in there.
This really pissed me off when I saw it. I can't believe how much shit he's talking about NJ ever since he left. I've always been a big supporter and IMO he IS the best PG of all time but after this I hope they make the playoffs so we get our 1st rounder and then they get swept. Then everyone on ESPN will be talking shit about how Kidd was a horrible trade and we got the best of it.

I really don't like what he said here. Sure he's with the Mavs and everything, but I just keep getting the feeling that he wants to shit on Nets anyway he can. He's proving to be a bit of an asshole, and that just upsets me.
I've been to Springfield. Maybe Kidd hasn't. Unlike Cooperstown, you don't go in as anything...other than a Hall of Famer. Ain't no caps in basketball. Petrovic didnt go in as a Net, a Croatian or Yugoslavian Natonal Team Member, a Blazer or a member of club teams he played for in Europe. He went in as a basketball player.
