What a game he had last night! 21 points and 13 rebounds, running the floor, made some amazing passes. Seriously, who knew he could pass so well? The over the shoulder, skip pass to Sean Williams while in the air was jaw dropping. Too bad Sean caught it while out of bounds. Besides that he was running the floor, taking it aggressively to the hoop, and gobbling up rebounds like crazy. His foul shooting was attrocious in the beginning, but started hitting them when it mattered. Everyone else... Devin Harris: His passing game is better than advertised. Made some nice bounce passes in between players and looked good as a point guard. His just has a great understanding of the game, and combined with his speed and hustle, is a one man fast break. I believe he and Carter were key to winning this basketball game because they put the Jazz in foul trouble the whole game. Vince Carter: With the pace of the game, I didn't really realize Vince missed so many shots until I saw the boxscore. He didn't shoot well, but what he did, along with Harris, is draw fouls on the Jazz all game, putting them over the limit for almost half the game. I think that was key to winning. Putrid 6-20 from the field, but a great 13-14 from the line. Richard Jefferson: A great offensive game from him tonight, the way he flows with this offense, you'd never know he scored almost 30 points. A great actor too, haha. But seriously, wow at him blowing by Kirilenko (!) for the awesome shot. Marcus Williams: Started the game off really with not much time to settle in, and relied on the shot a bit much, but once he got some time in and settled on his bread and butter (passing), he looked good. Nothing like Harris, but he's a steady guy who is with a doubt, the best passer on the team, especially on the fast break. Boki Nachbar: When he's on, he's on. He's won a lot of games for us when he's hot. That's all I have to say. Stormile Swift: I don't care if he dunked over Jerry Sloan tonight, the mistakes he made were so unbelieveable laughable, that wow... He's really lucky that Jefferson was able to score on that play where he was basically yakking it up with the refs while his teammates were fighting and hustling for the ball. He's lucky Frank didn't see him almost give that play away with all the players jumping around (except Swift, of course), because he would have surely benched him. And then he steps out of bounds with no one around him. Wowza. Sean Williams: Non-factor. Limited by foul trouble, though.
Pretty good recap. Boone and Harris are two smart dudes. Both of them could be pretty good leaders someday. Marcus Williams - "Steady"?! Kirilenko is strictly a help defender. He is a poor man defender, and he gets worse the farther away he is from the rim. The only guy on the Jazz that could have helped him in that situation is himself. Their other bigs are useless. I still see no reason to have traded for Stromile Swift. He has the most inexplicable fan following I've ever seen. I thought RJ played with energy and even pitched in with a little man defense for a change. Maybe he's calling himself out during the lonely times. There's not much point to playing Diop against the Jazz, but I thought he adjusted well after a slow start and made some nice contributions in the second half. He's also a better passer than expected.

I'd like to take a moment to hate on Stromile Swift. He must be the most retarded NBA player I've ever witnessed. Really, that play where he argued with the ref - he saw Devin HAD THE BALL. THE BALL WAS STILL IN PLAY. And he argues with the fucking ref?? What the hell?? And then, that rebound, where he basically held onto the ball for waaay too long and lost balance. Why hold onto the ball?? Did you think for a second, you were gonna run point guard? What the fuck? Soooo disappointed we traded for him. :\ Okay, now onto Boone...he played great. The only thing you could hate on there was his free throw shooting, everything else was small mistakes that he continually made up for. Sean, eh. He did something. The fouls are really becoming a problem, and he has to start learning how to deal with it. I mean, 60 games and you'd think he'd figure it out by now... And Vince - his shot was a lil off, but don't completely hate on him for it. He had a bunch of offensive rebounds, and that's no mistake - it came from misses on his own shots, from which he went straight to the basket after the ball left his hands. And even if he didn't get the tip-in, he kept the ball alive for someone else (usually Boone) to tip-in or get fouled instead. Plus, Vince got to the line a bunch of times. That was pretty great. And RJ...wow, he really played with some passion. You have to love what he did. He was one of the guys who willed this team to win.
I really cannot blame Sean Williams for the fouls. This is the guys second time facing Carlos Boozer and in the first one, Boozer barely even did anything which I believe he was coming off an injury. If Sean doesn't see consistant minutes then he will never learn other opponents post moves and will always have the same problems. If we want him to be one of our best defenders, we have to allow him to make these stupid fouls as hopefully he picks up others post moves. Boone is just a beast some nights and he looked like he was having fun.

Kirilenko - yeah, I think the Jazz plan was to have Kirilenko play off of him, and trick RJ into taking a jumpshot. AK with his long arms could have easily contested that. But RJ took him by surprise and drove on him a little bit harder, or earlier than he expected. Swift - at least his fans are nice RJ - he's been hustling since the Cleveland game at least, it's good to see Diop - he played limited minutes as he should against a team like the Jazz. Good job for Frank.

It wasn't until Sean picked up his third, did he sit him down.

Vince had more free throw attempts in this game than his previous 5 combined. Good to see him attack the basket, even he only does it once in a while.
well i dont think having collins here would make the team better. but good thing hes gone because this team needed to change its roster drastically and i like the way the team is playing now. but i still feel bad for collins. hes a good guy. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/o-BWqUsn6xg&hl=pt-br"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/o-BWqUsn6xg&hl=pt-br" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

With a full offseason, Boone needs to work on his free throws. Boy Swift, Thorn's got to buy that guy out or just trade him, he could be a cancer. Can Marcus be the backup to Devin? I think SWAT's hitting the rookie wall, should be a force next season.
