I do highly anticipate the last night at the Izod, and opening night at Brooklyn though.

I'm sick of winning being second to building an office complex in Brooklyn.

I wish they had sold the team to NJ connections. They would currently be selling out the Rock instead of continuing to play in that POS arena forever.

I voted yes, but if I had to choose between the Brooklyn arena and the newark one, i'd choose Newark

The only NJ connections bidding for the team was Jon Corzine, a horrendous tax-and-spend politician, and Kushner, who went to prison.

If you have to choose between those two (and that Islanders guy is a joke), I have to go with Ratner.

i personally dont care bout ratner owning the team nor can i do anything with that, but i just want him to be commited to winning and doing what it takes for us to be a better team, no matter the cost of course. and im not sayin for him to go spend like a mad man but do what it takes even if it means goin to the luxury tax category

Then you DO care about Ratner owning the team. On a similar note, what do you think about resigning Vince Carter?

Meh, I've only gone to one game my whole life, and that was a nosebleed game against the Hawks :/
Going to Brooklyn won't be much of a negative for me.

i love VC im sorry, and to be fair after VC performance last year, or based on his performance since he has been a net, he deserves the 60 million. if he can just play the way he played then, and play with heart i think its well worth the 60 million for 4 years... its like 15 million a year, thats a bargain for VC. i kno ill get a lot of heat for sayin this, but dont judge VC's just this year, just look at the year b4 or when he became a net. and then tell he isnt worth 15 mill a year.

and if u compare him to other stars of their team hes a bargain, look at:
    marbury 20mil / yr
    oneil 19+mill / yr
    hughes 12mil / yr
    redd 15mil / yr
    j. richardson 11mil/ yr

they arent even as good as VC... so hes a bargain IMO... so dont kill me if i feel like it was a great signin cuz we got to keep our most talented player at 15 mill a year

thats fine... we were goin to pay kid at 35 almost 20 mill and 36 at 21+ mill... and we cant pay VC who is the most talented player on our team 17 mill at 33? i think he deserves it. look i kno what your saying but VC still has a lot left. he just seems like he doesnt care, but we shall see the rest of this season and in the playoffs (CROSSES FINGERS) if we make it

do you honestly feel that vc at 60 mill / 4 yrs is a mistake? i mean where we STAND right now... do you think its a mistake? how much do u think he deserves or what contract lenght/amount should we signed him for?

also come his 4th year at 17 mill, and hes not performing he could be used as a trading chip... for a team lookin for CAP room
